Privacy Policy
We built this site to collect as little as possible, and this policy to be readable without a law degree. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how to make us do something about it.
The short version
- We collect only what you send us: a form, a booking, or a waitlist email.
- No ad pixels, no tracking cookies, and analytics that can’t identify you.
- We never sell your information, and we never train AI on it.
- SMS opt-ins stay with us: texting consent is never shared with third parties.
- Email us to access, correct, or delete your data; appeals go to a human.
- Global Privacy Control is honored by design, since there’s nothing here to opt out of.
The summary is here to help; the full document below is what applies.
Who we are & what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how MxMacro LLC (“MxMacro,” “we,” “us”), a Virginia limited liability company, handles personal information when you visit mxmacro.com, contact us, or join a waitlist. This site and our services are for businesses; we act as the “controller” of the visitor information described here. When we run services for clients (like call answering or follow-up for their customers), we process that information on the client's behalf under our service agreement with them, and the client's own privacy practices apply to their customers.
What we collect
- What you send us.If you fill out our contact form, we collect what you provide: your name, email, phone number if you share it, which services you're interested in, and your note.
- Waitlist signups. Your email address, and which upcoming product you joined the list for.
- Scheduling. When you book a call, scheduling is handled by our booking provider (Cal.com); the details you enter there (name, email, time) are processed under their privacy terms and land on our calendar.
- Anonymous usage data.Cookieless analytics that count page views and clicks in aggregate. They don't set identifiers, build a profile of you, or follow you across sites.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived logs (such as IP address and request data) for security and reliability.
That's the whole list. There are no accounts, no checkout, and no data purchased from anyone.
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule your call, and provide the services you ask about.
- To send waitlist updates you asked for, with an unsubscribe link in every one.
- To understand, in aggregate, what's useful on the site and keep it fast.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
We don't use your information for cross-site advertising, and we don't use it to train artificial-intelligence models.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you give us your phone number in an inquiry, we may text you back about that inquiry. Any ongoing or marketing texting happens only with your consent, which you can give when you contact us and revoke at any time. For every texting program we run:
- Reply STOP to cancel at any time, and HELP for help.
- Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
- Consent is never a condition of purchasing anything.
- Your phone number and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing.
Cookies & analytics
We don't use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking, and our analytics are cookieless, which is why you don't see a cookie banner. The only thing stored in your browser is a small local preference for your light-or-dark theme choice; it never leaves your device. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC)signal by design: because we don't sell or share personal information or run targeted advertising, a GPC signal finds nothing to opt out of.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. A small number of service providers process information for us, only to run this site and respond to you: form processing (Web3Forms), scheduling (Cal.com), and hosting with privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel). Each is bound to use your information only to provide its service. Beyond that, we'd disclose information only if the law genuinely requires it, or as part of a business transition, in which case this policy would follow the data. If we add a materially different provider, we'll update this policy first.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising (we do none of those). We extend the same courtesy to everyone regardless of state:
- Make a request by emailing admin@mxmacro.comwith “privacy request” in the subject. We'll confirm your identity by replying to the email address we have for you, and we'll never ask for government ID. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf.
- Timing. We'll respond within 45 days; if a request is complex, the law allows one 45-day extension and we'll tell you if we need it.
- Appeals. If we decline a request, reply to our decision and a founder will review the appeal within 60 days. Virginia residents can also contact the Virginia Attorney General's Office if they disagree with the outcome.
- No retaliation. Exercising your rights never changes how we treat you.
- Email & SMS choices. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and STOP always stops texts.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries and messages: up to 3 years after our last contact, so we have context if you come back, then deleted or de-identified.
- Waitlist emails: until the product launches and its announcements end, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
- Server logs: short-lived, typically well under 90 days.
- Consent and opt-out records (for texting and email): as long as the law requires us to be able to prove them, which can be up to 10 years for SMS opt-outs.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards: encryption in transit, access limited to the founders, reputable infrastructure providers, and a collect-as-little-as-possible design, the best safeguard being data we never hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you without unreasonable delay, as Virginia law requires.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we'll revise the dates at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information we've already collected from you, we'll say so prominently on the site or email you before it takes effect, rather than changing things quietly.
